About
The firm was founded in 1964 by AIA Gold Medalist Michael Graves. Our unique multi-disciplinary practice encompasses planning, architecture, interior design, historic preservation and graphic design. Our work represents a legacy of imagination and problem-solving. At all scales and for all users, we draw on our craft to create solutions that are both pragmatic and transformative. Every design opportunity is an unfolding story centered on people, the end users as well as the team that collaborates to create the vision. Like many of our peers, we design amazing projects. We stand out because our work is a consequence of continuous learning, listening to our clients, and aiming to deliver the highest possible level of service. Michael Graves has designed projects of many different types throughout the world and has won the most prestigious awards. From large-scale master plans and buildings to the fine details of interiors and their furnishings, our work is always inspired by the physical and cultural context and the people who commission it, create it, and ultimately live in it.
