Cline is an integrated design firm dedicated to designing the experience of living well. With offices in Raleigh, Charlotte, Austin, and the DC Metro region, our team brings together architecture, interior design, planning, landscape architecture, and branding to create places that strengthen communities and enrich everyday life. For more than 35 years, Cline has partnered with clients across the country to design multifamily, mixed-use, affordable housing, senior living, student housing, hospitality, workplace, and adaptive reuse projects. Our work is rooted in a deep understanding of how people live, gather, move, and connect. From urban infill communities and campus-adjacent housing to hospitality destinations and neighborhood-serving mixed-use developments, we approach each project with curiosity, creativity, and care. As a firm, we believe good design begins with listening. We collaborate closely with clients, communities, and project partners to uncover the story, opportunities, and challenges behind each place. Our integrated structure allows us to think holistically, aligning building form, interiors, public space, landscape, and brand experience into cohesive environments that feel thoughtful, functional, and deeply connected to context.
